Sunday

Hey! Well this is my first blog ever so lets give it a try! Haha. You might be wondering why I titled my blog entry "Sunday" and you might not but the reason for it was because yesterday was Sunday and i want to talk about what my typical Sunday might look like.
On Sunday you can usually find me at our local Christian Church up on the hill, or at my mothers work. Yesterday i volunteered to help my mom up at her job. She is turning her whole classroom into a circus. My mom is a Special Education Teacher and loves her job. She is always going out of her way for her students. Most of her students have never been to the circus, which is why she is turning her classroom into one for a week. She has it worked out so that everything they do that relates to the circus theme will also be a learning experience. I spent most of my day up there helping her prepare the decorations and study work. I helped her hang some crepe paper so it looked like the inside of a circus tent. Quite like the one in Dumbo the movie. We painted clowns faces, pictures of lions, and many other circus animals. We hung some red and white crepe paper from her door to make it look like a curtain entrance door on a circus tent. I had a lot of fun helping her and seeing the final product. It looks awesome! It made me feel good to know that I made my mom happy and I wish I could have seen the kids's faces when they walked into her classroom today. Well even though I don't spend my every Sunday turning a room into a circus theme I do spend that day helping out my mom at her job. It brings me lots of joy to help her because I know how much she appreciates it and it takes a lot of stress off her plate.
So that was my first blog entry ever haha. I hope I did ok. I know that I'll get better it'll just take some time and a lot more writing haha
